Ordering TENS

You can order TENS online using our secure server ordering facility or you can print the order form and fax it to us with your credit card details OR post it together with your cheque if you do not wish to use a credit card on-line.

PLEASE NOTE that we do not confirm orders which will normally be processed immediately to your instructions. We will contact you by E-mail if there is any error on your order or problem with delivery.

VAT (UK)

All prices shown on the shopping pages exclude VAT - UK customers will have this automatically added to each order at the current rate of 17.5%

VAT Exemption

If you live in the UK and suffer from chronic pain (longer than 3 months without remmision) or are disabled or handicapped you are able to claim VAT exemption on TENS devices by signing a VAT Declaration Order Form.

(For more detailed information please read our 'VAT Facts' Information Sheet). Please note that we cannot accept VAT exemption claim forms by Internet or E-mail or after delivery. This concession must be claimed on the special order form and your order must be sent to us by fax or post.

NOTE - if you are ordering Batteries or Battery Chargers on their own there is no VAT exemption and you must order thesae on the normal VAT Order Form. This is because these items can be used in non-medical equipment. You may claim exemption when ordering these items with the TENS Unit.

To claim exemption you should select the items required and, during the order processing stage, select the 'VAT exempt order form' option.

Complete the form on screen but then print it out and sign the VAT exemption certificate. On completion fax the form with credit card details or post it with your cheque, postal order or credit card details to:

Delivery

· We endeavour to keep all products in stock and dispatch them to leave our works within 2 working days of receipt of your order.

· Please allow 7 working days for delivery (UK).

· If there is likely to be any delay we will advise you within 2 working days.

We do not confirm your order if it is to be processed within 2 working days at the prices quoted on your order form.

Credit Card Transactions

We accept VISA, DELTA, MASTERCARD and SWITCH

We guarantee not to process any credit card transaction until the day that your goods are dispatched - if we are unable to dispatch any item we will adjust your order and payment accordingly. Follow on items will be charged to your card on the day that they are dispatched to you.

All charges will be billed in £sterling and converted to your own currency by your bank. As a rough guide Euros and US Dollars will be 1.5 times the displayed £sterling total.

Your credit card will be charged in UK £ and your bank will convert this into your own currency at the current exchange rate.

Guarantees and Refunds

· Medical devices manufactured by Nidd Valley Medical (PROTENS, YorTENS, NT10 and OBS200) have a 5 year warranty against faulty workmanship or components. This waranty does not apply to consumables and accessories supplied with the devices.

· Manufacturers liability is restricted to repair or replacement of faulty devices.

· Medical Devices and accessories which originate from other manufacturers carry the normal warranty provided by the respective manufacturer.

Money Back Guarantee

TENS EQUIPMENT - If for whatever reason you wish to return the TENS machine, provided it is received within 4 weeks of purchase and is in good condition, we will refund in full. Please note that this does not apply to accessories. Full details of our guarantee available on request.

Refunds cannot be given for electrodes, garments, batteries or books.

This does not affect your statutory rights.

Security and Data Protection

Nidd Valley Medical Ltd and its associated companies abide by the laws prevailing and in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998

When you choose to buy your goods from us online, all transactions are processed in a secure environment. When you click the link to "proceed to checkout," you enter our secure shopping area, where your personal details and credit card information is encrypted using 128 bit encryption. This encrypted information cannot read by anyone other than us and is only decrypted after it has reached the computer in our sales and depatch department. The information is not held in text format on any web site.

All personal details are held in strictest of confidence and only used by Nidd Valley Medical Ltd and its associated companies to update you on new products and special offers. If you do not wish us to keep your details on our database you should advise this fact by e-mail (NOTE - we are required to keep a record of your transaction for customs and excise purpose and your credit card details for a period of 6 months in line with our fraud protection policy. These details will not be stored electronically and will be maintained securely and confidentially at all times.
